Franklin portrayed Rosemary, June Whitfield’s right-hand lady in a Women’s Liberation plan to derail a beauty competition held by Sid James in an otherwise uninteresting seaside town in Carry On Girls. This was her most prominent role in a Carry-On film (1973).
