Ethan Green Hawke, an American actor and director, was born on November 6, 1970. Four Academy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, and a Tony Award have all nominated him. In addition to three feature films, Hawke has also directed three off-Broadway plays and a documentary.
Three books and one graphic novel are among his other works. He made his acting debut in the science fiction picture Explorers in 1985 before breaking through in the drama Dead Poets Society in 1989. Before playing a part in the Generation X drama Reality Bites in 1994, which won him critical acclaim, he made appearances in a number of movies.

Hawke was born in 1970 in Austin, Texas, to James Hawke, an insurance actuary, and Leslie Hawke, a volunteer. In Fort Worth, Texas, Hawke’s parents were high school sweethearts who got married when Hawke’s mother was only 17.
Hawke was born the following year. At the time of Hawke’s birth, his parents were both enrolled as students at the University of Texas at Austin. When he was four years old, in 1974, they were divorced and then split up.
Following the divorce, Hawke’s mother raised him. Before arriving in New York City, where Hawke attended the Packer Collegiate Institute in Brooklyn Heights, the two moved around quite a bit. When Hawke was ten years old, his mother remarried, and the family relocated to West Windsor Township, New Jersey.
