Mark Alan Ruffalo, an actor, and producer, was born in the United States on November 22, 1967. He began performing in the early 1990s and rose to prominence in Kenneth Lonergan’s drama flicks This Is Our Youth (1998) and You Can Count on Me (1998).

In the movies View From the Top (2002), 13 Going on 30 (2004), Just Like Heaven (2005), and Rumor Has It (2006), Ruffalo portrayed the romantic lead (2007).

For his major role in Clifford Odets’ Awake and Sing! At the Belasco Theatre in New York, Ruffalo was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Play in 2006.
