Actor Joel Moore made the successful transition from nationally broadcast commercials to TV shows and movies, landing main roles as well as supporting parts in more high-profile films like the box office juggernaut “Avatar.” September 25, 1977 marked his birth.
Before relocating to Los Angeles in 2000, Moore spent a few years performing at the prestigious Oregon Shakespeare Festival. A role in the Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn comedy “Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story,” where Moore used his lanky body to humorous effect, followed by guest appearances and recurrent parts on TV shows.
