John Refoua (born December 8, 1964) is a film editor from the United States. He was nominated for Best Film Editing at the 2009 Academy Awards for his work on the film Avatar. He was nominated along with James Cameron and Stephen E. Rivkin. He has worked on TV shows such as Touched by an Angel, Twin Peaks, and Law & Order.
The Law & Order franchise began with the television series Law & Order, which was conceived by Dick Wolf and produced by Wolf Entertainment. Law & Order aired its entire run on NBC, beginning on September 13, 1990, and ending on May 24, 2010. After an 11-year absence, NBC announced on September 28, 2021, that the series would be revived for the 21st season, which would air on February 24, 2022. The resurrection featured the introduction of new regular cast members as well as the return of series stalwarts Sam Waterston and Anthony Anderson as District Attorney Jack McCoy and Detective Kevin Bernard, respectively. NBC renewed the series for a 22nd season on May 10, 2022, which will premiere on September 22, 2022.
