The most remarkable thing about John Wayne Gacy is how normal his family life seemed.
He was married to Marlynn and they had two children a boy and a girl. the name of his son is Micheal and his daughter is Christine. They had an everyday life until the secret life of John Wayne Gacy came to light. When Christine was just 1, her father went to prison for sodomy after two teenage boys accused him of sexual assault. Following his sentencing, Christine and Michael’s mother Marlynn filed for divorce.
Gacy was sentenced in 1968, and Marlynn was granted her divorce and full custody of her children in 1969. Later, Marlynn revealed that she was shocked about the sodomy case. there was so much media coverage that directly or indirectly had a toll on his family, especially Marlynn, Micheal, and Christine.
Following the divorce, Christine, and Michael rarely if ever saw their father, and they faded from public view.
in 1978 Gacy was convicted of killing 33 people. He has been labeled as one of the world’s most notorious serial killers.
