Corey Reynolds, an American actor, was born on July 3, 1974.
He is best known for his roles in the TNT crime thriller The Closer and as Seaweed in the Broadway production of Hairspray.
Reynolds went to Richmond, Virginia’s Monacan High School before coming to California to pursue his acting career. He started out by participating in a lot of productions at Paramount Kings Dominion.
While residing in California, he was selected to participate in the touring productions of Smokey Joe’s Cafe and Saturday Night Fever. After this run, he went to New York City and went to many show tryouts.
For this performance, he was nominated for a Drama Desk Award and a Tony Award for Outstanding Featured Actor in a Musical.
Reynolds appeared in The Guardian and as a guest star on Without a Trace before his work on The Closer. Reynolds conducted research for his new position using his former skills in law enforcement and security.
