Jonnie Irwin, born Jonathan James Irwin is an English television host, author, lecturer, and real estate and business specialist who was born on November 18, 1973.

The astute English broadcaster’s children are still toddlers. His firstborn child is just 3 years old and his set of twins are only 2 years old.
Irwin disclosed on November 13, 2022, that he had terminal lung cancer, which was discovered in 2020. In a statement to the media, he said: “I don’t know how long I have left, but I try to be optimistic and my mentality is that I’m living with cancer, not dying with it.”
Irwin attended Birmingham City University and Lutterworth Grammar School after growing up on a farm in Leicestershire.
Talking about his professional life, he formerly held a position in real estate and business services before branching into broadcasting to host A Place in the Sun – Home or Away.
Out of thousands of candidates, he was chosen to host Channel 4’s A Place In The Sun: Home Or Away in 2004. Since 2003, Irwin has hosted more than 200 episodes that were filmed all throughout Britain.
