Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard (born 17 August 2003), professionally known as the Kid Laroi (stylised as the Kid LAROI), is an Australian rapper, singer, and composer. While on tour in Australia, he became acquainted with and became friends with American rapper Juice Wrld. He acquired a local following before signing a deal with Lil Bibby’s Grade A Productions and Columbia Records, and he rose to prominence in 2020 with his duet with Juice Wrld on “Go,” which peaked at number 52 on the Billboard Hot 100.
F*ck Love (2020), his debut mixtape, achieved number one on the Australian ARIA Charts, making him the youngest Australian solo artist to do so, and also peaked at number one on the US Billboard 200. Furthermore, Howard’s song “Without You” and its remix with Miley Cyrus, as well as his duet with Justin Bieber, “Stay,” charted in the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100, with “Stay” standing at number one for seven consecutive weeks.
