Little Richard was a stage name for electrifying Richard Wayne Penniman, an American musician, singer, and composer who was born on December 5, 1932, and passed away on May 9, 2020.
For decades, he was a key figure in popular music and culture. Richard’s most well-known work is from the middle of the 50s when his explosive music and theatrics helped to establish rock & roll.

Richard dated Ernestine Harvin, the only woman he married whiles he was alive, from 1957 and got married to her in 1959 in Los Angeles, California.
Just like most celebrity marriages, it ended in divorce in 1964. Harvin later indicated in an interview that it all came crashing down because of Richard’s celebrity status in society.
Richard countered that by saying their marriage failed due to his neglectfulness as a husband and his sexuality.
