Jermaine Lateef Rivers, an American actor, was born on September 22, 1973. He rose to prominence as Shatter on the Fox/Marvel television series The Gifted. He plays Officer Carter in the Lifetime Channel television series Devious Maids.
Rivers has appeared in films such as The Sacrament (2013) and Magic Mike XXL, among others (2015). In 2016, Rivers portrayed Frank Colton in MacGyver episode 1×16.
