Tang Nguyen is an American actor who was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Nguyen began studying martial arts at the age of twelve, in addition to receiving a formal education. In 1992, he made his debut as a background actor in the action film ‘Sidekicks.’ Tang Nguyen then relocated to Orange County, California, in 1996, to attend Glendale Community College. Soon after, he discovered his love of acting and began taking acting classes under the tutelage of wonderful, talented mentors.
He began giving auditions after taking acting classes from James Hong, Elizabeth Gamza, and Priscilla Barnes. Tang Nguyen received his Screen Actors Guild card in 1999. Tang Nguyen is a 2nd-degree black belt in Kung Fu, Taekwondo, Karate, and Kickboxing. He also worked on his athletic and stunt abilities.
Tang Nguyen received high praise for her performance in the television series ‘The Gifted Chip,’ which aired from 2017 to 2019. Nguyen also rose to prominence after appearing in the 2018 film ‘Black Panther Stunts.’
