The Portuguese professional footballer Bernardo Mota Veiga de Carvalho e Silva, also known as Bernardo Silva or simply Bernardo, was born on August 10, 1994.
He currently plays as an attacking midfielder or winger for Premier League club Manchester City as well as the Portugal national team. Silva is renowned for his endurance, agility, and work ethic. He is regarded as one of the best midfielders in the world as well as among the best Portuguese players.
In the group stage of the 2018–19 UEFA Nations League, Silva was chosen for three games and contributed a goal to a 3-2 victory against Poland.
In the UEFA Nations League Finals, Silva participated in both games and recorded an assist in each one as Portugal won the trophy at home, earning him the title of the competition’s best player.
