Exequiel Alejandro Palacios was brought to the world on 5 October 1998 is an Argentine expert footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen and the Argentina public group.
Palacios is a Club Atlético River Plate youth player. He made his league debut against Newell’s Old Boys on November 8, 2015.
On December 13, 2019, Palacios made his final appearance for his childhood club in the Copa Argentina final, playing 79 minutes in a 3–0 victory over Central Córdoba. On December 16, 2019, Bayer Leverkusen made the announcement that Palacios would sign a five-and-a-half-year contract and join the team on January 1, 2020.
On September 8, 2018, Palacios made his debut for Argentina in a 3–0 international friendly against the Guatemalan national football team.
In a World Cup qualifier against Paraguay on November 12, 2020, Palacios broke a bone in his spine and was expected to miss three months. Giovani Lo Celso took Palacios’ place and won the corner kick from which Nicolas Gonzalez scored Argentina’s equalizer.
