Nicolás Alejandro Tagliafico (conceived on 31 August 1992) is an Argentine expert footballer who plays as a left-back for Ligue 1 club Lyon and the Argentina public group.
Tagliafico made his professional debut for Banfield in the 72nd minute of the fifth match of the 2011 Clausura, a 2-1 away victory over Tigre. The following match, a 22-2 draw with Huracán, saw Marcelo Bustamante start in his place due to his suspension. Tagliafico joined the Spanish club Real Murcia on loan in 2012 for one year.
In 2015, he took the action against Independiente for an undisclosed exchange charge and made his expert presentation for the club during a 3−2 away success at Newell’s Old Young men. The captain of the team that won the Copa Sudamericana in 2017 would be Tagliafico.
On January 21, 2018, Tagliafico made his professional debut for Ajax in a 20-0 home victory over Feyenoord in the Klassieker. He signed with the club for £4 million on January 5 of this year. Since then, he has played for the club in more than 100 league games, scored seven league goals, and joined the team as a starter in 2019.
He signed a €4.2 million three-year contract with Lyon, a club in Ligue 1, on July 23, 2022.
