Danilo Lus Hélio Pereira, also known as Danilo Pereira, is a Portuguese professional football player who competes for both Portugal’s national team and Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain as a defensive midfielder or central defender. He was born on September 9, 1991.

He came through Benfica’s youth system before joining Parma in the Italian Serie A in 2010. He was loaned out to several clubs before signing with Martimo in 2013. He joined Porto in July 2015 for a reported fee of €4.5 million, winning two Primeira Liga titles and one Taça de Portugal while being part of the squad that won the domestic double in 2020, making 202 official appearances. He joined Paris Saint-Germain on a one-year loan deal in October 2020, which was extended at the end of the season.

Pereira, a Guinea-Bissau native, competed for Portugal at the under-18, under-19, under-20, and under-21 levels in junior competition, making it to the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup final. He played in the teams that won the UEFA Euro 2016 and the 2019 UEFA Nations League Finals on home soil after making his senior international debut in 2015.
