He is a left-back for the Brazil national team and Serie A club Juventus.
Alex Sandro began his career at the club level with Atletico Paranaense and later played on loan for Santos. He joined Porto for €9.6 million in 2011 with teammate and national teammate Danilo, a right back. When he joined Juventus in 2015, he won the domestic double in his first three seasons. Over the next two years, he won two more league titles in a row.
Alex Sandro plays for Brazil on the international stage, where he has won 30 caps. He also played for the Brazil under-20 team when he was younger, which won the South American Youth Championship and the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2011. Later, he was a part of the Brazil team that won the Copa América in 2019.
