Gleison Bremer Silva Nascimento, also known as Bremer and born on March 18, 1997, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a center-back for Juventus of Serie A and the Brazil national team.
Bremer is a physically powerful center-back with a great sense of positioning and aerial prowess. His inspiration is reportedly Brazilian defender Lúcio. He is a versatile player with exceptional speed.
Bremer, who was born in Itapetinga, Bahia, joined Desportivo Brasil in 2014 at the age of 17. He initially belonged to the under-20 team when he was loaned to So Paulo in 2016 for a year. In a 3-0 home loss to Rio Claro for the Copa Paulista that year, on October 12 of that year, he made his professional debut with the reserves.
Bremer was given his first call-up to the Brazil national team on September 9, 2022, for friendlies against Ghana and Tunisia. He made his debut on September 23 against Ghana, winning 3-0. He was included in the team for the 2022 FIFA World Cup on November 7.
