Nikola Vlašić (born on October 4, 1997) plays attacking midfield for Serie A club Torino while on loan from Premier League club West Ham United and for the Croatian national team.
Nikola is a young alumni of the Hajduk Split academy and was born into the illustrious Croatian sporting family Vlai. He made his senior debut in the summer of 2014, and later that year he was named to The Guardian’s list of the Next Generation.
In 2017, his performances earned him a move to Everton; however, after an unsuccessful season, he was loaned out to CSKA Moscow, who made the move permanent at the end of the season.
In addition to playing in the UEFA Euro 2020 and the 2022 World Cups, Vlai made his debut for Croatia on the 2017 World Cup before becoming a regular for Croatia in the international arena.
Parents and Siblings
Venera Milin, a former cross-country skier, and Joko Vlašić , a sports coach, are the parents of Vlašić , who was born in Split.
He is the younger brother of high-jumper Blanka Vlašić , a world champion. In the vicinity of Tisno, his father is from Dubrava. Despite having roots in Jezera on the island of Murter, his mother was born and raised in Delnice.
Wife and Children
Vlašić wed his longtime love Ana in Split’s St. Lawrence Church on May 22, 2021.
They welcomed a newborn boy, whom they called Noa, into the world in the end of June of the same year.
