In Osecenica, PR Serbia, FPR Yugoslavia, Miodrag Jei was born on 30 November 1958.

Miodrag Ješić joined Romanian Liga I newcomers CS Otopeni in June 2008, however, after a string of losses, his contract was prematurely terminated on August 18, 2008.

Miodrag Ješić agreed to a one-year deal with FK Budunost Podgorica of the Montenegrin First League in September 2008. He agreed to a one-year deal with Al-Ittihad Tripoli of the Libyan First League in July 2009. Al Ittihad defeated Tarsana 3-2 to claim the Libyan Super Cup on September 22, 2009.

On June 16, 2010, Hao Wei was replaced as manager of Changsha Ginde by Miodrag Ješić. He succeeded Hamid Derakhshan as head coach of Shahrdari Tabriz F.C. on June 19, 2011, but the team fired him on December 24, 2011.

He was appointed the new head coach of the Saudi Professional League team Najran on June 24, 2012. After taking over for Stoycho Mladenov as manager of CSKA Sofia on January 7, 2013, Miodrag Ješić was unexpectedly relieved of his duties on March 11, 2013, just two games into his tenure, one of which the team won.
