Deborah Bryant, often known as Momma Dee, is an actress, singer, and reality television personality best known for her participation on the VH1 blockbuster reality series Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.
She was born Deborah Gaither on September 21, 1963.
Dee was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1963. She went to Canarsie High School and South Shore High School. At Georgia State University, she earned an associate’s degree in nursing. Dee was involved in an automobile accident in 1996 that rendered her wheelchair-bound for three years.
Dee became a pimp and a drug dealer to support her family because she was disabled and unable to pursue a standard job. For ten years, she operated a brothel under the alias “Lady Dee.”
