Jan Nowicki was born on November 5, 1939, in Kowa He was a Polish theatre, film, and television actor, theatre director, pedagogue, columnist, writer, and poet.
He played almost 200 roles in television and film theater, m.in inNiepoburowany, Wielki Szu, Magnat, Spiralaand Sanatorium pod Klepsydrą.
For over 30 years he was an actor at the Star Theatre in Kraków, where he played dozens of roles, and the performances of Stavrogin in The Demons, Rogożyn in NastasiaFilipovna, Artur in Tango, and Prince Konstant in November Night have gone down in the history of Polish theatre
