Desiderio Alberto Arnaz IV, more popularly known as Desi Arnaz Jr., is an American actor and musician.

Desi Arnaz was born on January 19, 1953, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, to Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. Both his parents were active and well-known in the entertainment industry.
His mother was an actress, comedian, and producer who was nominated for 13 Primetime Emmy Awards of which she won five times. His father was an actor, bandleader, and film and television producer who played Ricky Ricardo on the American television sitcom I Love Lucy.
For the sitcom “I love Lucy”, his father starred alongside his wife. The family all starred in another sitcom titled Here’s Lucy, including his older sister, Lucie Arnaz.
Lucie, like the rest of the family, was also active in the acting industry. She began her career, independent of her family in the mid-1970s.
