In an interview he granted in 1998 he said he was not sure whether he believed in Heaven, or even God even though he came from a strong Catholic family.
Earlier, in 1997 he said this to the Washington Post in an interview: “I don’t believe in Heaven and Hell, I don’t know if I believe in God.”
These views of his concerning religion have received widespread divided opinions around the globe. He has however remained resolute to his stance because that is what he believes in and no one has been able to convince his to believe otherwise.
