The Emmy award nominee’s stellar job as a stuntwoman in Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War received many positive reviews from many astute film critics.
Where did Janeshia Adams-Ginyard go to high school?
She attended Gahr High School in Cerritos, California where she competed for the school in athletics.
Adams-Ginyard owns numerous sports records in the 400-meter relay, the 4 x 100-meter relay, the heptathlon, and the 300-meter hurdles.
She also won the 300-meter hurdles championship for the California Interscholastic Federation during her senior year.
She pursued linguistics and African-American studies at the University of California, Berkeley, with a focus on Caribbean culture after graduating from high school. The stuntwoman continued with her athletic activities in college too.
She served as a brakeman for the American National Bobsled team for a year. She and Jamia Jackson became the country’s first all-African American women’s bobsled team.
