Stanley Aughtry is a popular American actor and model. Stanley has been in the entertainment industry for over a decade and a half, and he played various roles in film and television and also performed as a promotional model for a major home improvement company.
Stanley was born in Washington, DC in the year 1979, to Brenda Barnes Battle and Stanley Aughty Sr. He was raised in Goldsboro, NC where he had his primary and secondary school education.
Stanley excelled as a scholar, athlete, musician, and leader. In addition to excelling academically, Stanley displayed great promise as a football captain, trumpet player, and Governor’s School attendee.
After graduating from High school, he enrolled at Hampton University on full scholarship where he served as football captain and earned honors in Electrical Engineering.
Stanley’s acting career erupted in 2007 landing his first big screen appearance in The Dark Knight (2008). He was featured in the film Step Sisters (2010) and a commercial for Norfolk Southern prior to his next feature film appearance in The Dark Knight Rises (2012).
