Dorothy Steel was born on February 23, 1926. She was an American actress who started her career at the age of 88, she played minor characters in several high-profile films including Black Panther, Poms, Jumanji: The Next Level, and her final film, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Born in Detroit, Michigan, in 1926, she lived in Atlanta, Georgia for many years.
She is best known for her roles in Black Panther( 2018), Jumanji Next Level(2019), and also The Trouble with Going Somewhere (2013). Dorothy has also appeared in the Television Show; The Oval as a Pharmacy Customer.
What people don’t know is that she began pursuing her acting career at an old old age, at the age of 88. According to her publicist, Steel was in the middle of filming Black Panther 2 when she died. Black Panther 2 was going Dorothy Steel’s last sequel and also her last job.
