Director Quentin Tarantino is the most prominent man to be implicated in the scandal as the #MeToo movement spreads throughout Hollywood. Co-star Michael Madsen was supposed to spit on Uma Thurman in the “Kill Bill” script, but Quentin Tarantino carried it out instead since he had no faith in anyone else to spit properly.

On Monday, Tarantino said to Deadline, “I’m the director, so I can kind of art direct this spit.” “I’m aware of the intended landing spot. Near the camera, I am. Hence, bang! I do it.”

Since Thurman informed the New York Times that the filmmaker treated her poorly on set, the director has come under fire. In the interview with Deadline, Tarantino addressed these accusations.

A large portion of the discussion focused on Thurman’s nearly deadly vehicle accident while filming “Kill Bill,” which was shown in the horrifying Times video. He also acknowledges that he actually choked Thurman while they were filming “Inglourious Basterds,” something he did again years later with Diane Kruger.

While sympathizing with Thurman, Kruger expressed on Instagram that working with Tarantino had been a “pure delight” for her personally.
