Is the Chesapeake Walmart shooting suspect identified?
Five of the victims have been identified as Lorenzo Gamble, Brian Pendleton, Kellie Pyle, Randall Blevins, and Tyneka Johnson, according to a news release from the City of Chesapeake on Wednesday.
According to the city, a 16-year-old boy was the sixth fatality, but authorities are not publishing his name due to his age.
Each of the six victims was employed by Walmart, a company official told CNN.
The shooter, identified as Andre Bing, 31, earlier on Wednesday by the city, was “equiped with one handgun and had many magazines on his person,” according to the city.
Bing had been a “evening team lead” for Walmart since 2010, the company said in a statement.
