The Power Rangers is an American entertainment and product brand based on the Japanese tokusatsu franchise Super Sentai. It centers around a live-action superhero television series.
The Power Rangers television series, which was first produced by Saban Entertainment, then by BVS Entertainment, then by Saban Brands, and finally by SCG Power Rangers LLC and its parent company, Hasbro, today, was heavily influenced by the Super Sentai television series, which was created by Toei Company.
