Susanna Reid, an English journalist and television host, was born on December 10th, 1970. Reid was born the third-youngest kid in the Croydon neighbourhood of South London. From 1975 until 1981, she attended the prestigious Croham Hurst School. From 1981 to 1987, she attended the prestigious Croydon High School, and from 1987 to 1989, she went to St. Paul’s Girls’ School in London. When she was nine years old, her parents got divorced.
From 2003 to 2014, she co-hosted BBC Breakfast alongside Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt. She came in second on Strictly Come Dancing’s eleventh season in 2013. Ben Shephard, Kate Garraway, and earlier Piers Morgan have joined Reid as co-presenters of the ITV Breakfast show Good Morning Britain since 2014.
From 2010 to 2011, she also hosted Sunday Morning Live on BBC One.
Reid began her career as a producer and journalist for BBC Radio Bristol before joining Radio 5 Live. After that, she worked as a correspondent for BBC News 24 for two years. Reid, who was three months pregnant with her first child, filled in for an hour one night when the 23:00 presenter failed to show up. This resulted in a job that was permanent.
