Christopher “C. J.” Henderson, Jr. (born September 30, 1998) plays cornerback for the National Football League’s Carolina Panthers (NFL). In the 2020 NFL Draft, he was selected ninth overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars after playing college football for Florida.
Henderson was traded to the Carolina Panthers on September 27, 2021, along with a 2022 fifth-round selection, for tight end Dan Arnold and a 2022 third-round pick.

Henderson attended Christopher Columbus High School and was educated in Miami, Florida, where he was born and raised. He participated in both cornerback and running back for the football team of the Explorers, and as a senior, he received an invitation to play in the All-America Bowl.
He was a four-star talent who made an early commitment to play for the University of Miami before backing out to consider other opportunities. Henderson ultimately consented to play for the University of Florida by signing a letter of intent.
