
American professional baseball pitcher William Taylor Harris was born on August 28, 1984, and he is now a free agent. He has participated in MLB games with the Washington Nationals, Houston Astros, Colorado Rockies, and Arizona Diamondbacks. In 2012, he made his major league debut.
Harris, a Houston, Texas native, represented Louisiana State University in collegiate baseball (LSU). He was chosen by the Rockies in the ninth round of the MLB draft in 2006.
Harris has won the 2017 World Series with the Astros, been selected as an American League All-Star (2016), and this year threw in a combined no-hitter and flawless inning.
