Michael Badgley, also known as “The Money Badger,” is an American professional player born on July 28, 1995, and plays the position of a placekicker for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League. In 2018, the Colts signed him as an undrafted free agent after learning of his University of Miami football experience. He has also suited up for the Tennessee Titans, Chicago Bears, Indianapolis Colts, and Los Angeles Chargers.
The Chicago Bears added Badgley to their practice squad on October 1, 2022. Due to kicker Cairo Santos’ doubt about the team’s game against the New York Giants due to personal matters, he was added to the active roster. All four field goals he attempted throughout the contest were successful. Two days later, Michael Badgley was freed.
