Frank Ragnow, an American football center for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League, was born on May 17, 1996.

In the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft, the Lions selected him out of Arkansas, where he played college football.

On May 12, 2018, the Detroit Lions agreed to a four-year, $11.78 million deal with Ragnow, which included a $9.21 million guarantee and a $6.64 million signing bonus.

Ragnow was immediately moved to offensive guard by the Detroit Lions, despite his college career seeing him mostly used as a center.

After Travis Swanson left the team, Graham Glasgow was expected to take his place as the Lions’ starting center.

Alongside Graham Glasgow, right guard T. J. Lang, Taylor Decker, Rick Wagner, and the other offensive tackles, he made his debut.

During the Detroit Lions’ 48-17 season-opening loss to the New York Jets, he made his professional debut in a regular season and his first career start.

At left guard, he finished the season starting each of the 16 contests.

He received his 2021 Pro Bowl selection on December 21, 2020.

The Lions chose to exercise Ragnow’s fifth-year option on April 28, 2021.

On May 7, he agreed to a four-year, $54 million contract extension with the Lions.
