Cody Michael Whitehair, an offensive guard for the National Football League’s Chicago Bears, was born on July 11, 1992. At Kansas State, he played collegiate football.
Whitehair, an Abilene, Kansas native, played two-way linebacker for the Cowboys football team’s varsity squad while a student at Abilene High School. With 81 total tackles (41 solo, 40 assisted), 15 sacks, and 140 pancake blocks during his senior season, Abilene finished 10-1 despite losing to Buhler in the second round of the KSHSAA 4A state playoffs.
He was subsequently named to PrepStar magazine’s All-Midlands Region team.
