On September 12, 1995, Trevon Wesco, a tight end for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League, was born

He played collegiate football for Lackawant Community College and West Virginia before being chosen by the Jets in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Wesco was taken by the New York Jets in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft with the 121st overall pick. Wesco played tight end infrequently during his rookie season, but mostly he was a fullback.

On November 9, 2020, Wesco was placed on injured reserve. He started functioning on December 12, 2020.

Wesco was Ryan Griffin and Tyler Kroft’s backup tight end prior to the 2021 season. He suffered a knee injury in Week 16 and was put on injured reserve on December 27. After 12 games with 7 starts, he finished the season with three catches for 35 yards. On August 30, 2022, the Jets released him as a result of roster reductions.
