Preston Demarquis Smith, an American football outside linebacker with the National Football League’s Green Bay Packers, was born on November 17, 1992.
Smith was named one of the top NFL players under the age of 25 in March 2016. Smith was anticipated to be the backup outside linebacker behind Ryan Kerrigan and Junior Galette entering training camp.
Smith was named the starting right outside linebacker when Junior Galette tore his Achilles during the 2016 preseason. Smith has two sacks and his first career interception in the Redskins’ 26-20 victory over the Minnesota Vikings in November 2016.
