Jake Scott Hanson, a centre for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League, was created on April 29, 1997. (NFL). At Oregon, he played collegiate football.
Despite receiving offers from California, Oregon State, Utah, and Washington State, 4-star recruit Hanson chose Oregon. Over the course of his career, Hanson made 49 starts; however, he missed two games in 2019 due to a concussion and one start in 2018 due to a targeting penalty the week before. His first three seasons saw him without a single sack. Hanson received two second-team all-Pac-12 selections.
He was a key member of Oregon’s offensive line, which was nominated for the Joe Moore Award. During his senior season, he allowed two sacks and four quarterback hits.
In the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, Hanson was taken by the Green Bay Packers with the 208th overall pick.
On January 26, 2021, Hanson and the Packers reached an agreement on a reserves/futures deal. He agreed to the Packers’ tender offer to stay with the team on April 18, 2022.
Hanson made his NFL debut on September 11, 2022, playing guard for the Minnesota Vikings in a 23-7 loss.
