Over the course of his collegiate career at the University of Cincinnati, Deguara amassed 1,117 yards on 92 receptions. Over the course of his junior and senior years, he scored 13 touchdowns. Deguara was chosen for the first team of the American Athletic Conference.
The Green Bay Packers selected Deguara in the third round with the 94th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. He signed his rookie contract on July 24, 2020. On September 13, 2020, he made his first career catch for 12 yards in a victory over the Minnesota Vikings during Week 1.
