Brandon Aiyuk (born March 17, 1998) is an American football wide receiver and return specialist who currently plays for the National Football League’s San Francisco 49ers (NFL). He played college football at Arizona State and Sierra College before being drafted in the first round by the San Francisco 49ers in 2020.
Aiyuk had 33 receptions for 474 yards and three touchdowns in his first season with the Sun Devils, in addition to 381 extra return yards. Prior to the start of his senior year, Aiyuk received a third-team preseason All-Pac-12 Conference honor.
On October 12, 2019, he caught seven catches for 196 yards and three touchdowns in a 38-34 victory over Washington State, earning him the title of Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week. Following his 44 kickoff return yards and 76 punt return yards, including 63 on his first return for a score at ASU against Oregon State on November 16, Aiyuk was also awarded the conference’s Special Teams Player of the Week.
