Cullen Gillaspia, an American football linebacker in the National Football League, signed to the Seattle Seahawks practice squad On September 28, 2022. Before that, Gillaspia signed with the New York Giants on March 16, 2021, and played in 15 of the 17 games, recording four tackles.
He played football while a student at Texas A&M University. Gillaspia attended and participated in football at James E. Taylor High School. In the 2019 NFL Draft, the Houston Texans picked Gillaspia in the seventh round, as 220th overall.
He participated in 12 offensive snaps during the regular season. Cullen was instrumental in the AFC wild-card game when he made a significant block on two Bills defenders, which allowed Deshaun Watson to score in overtime, 22-19. In Week 3 of the 2020 regular season, Cullen Gillaspia made his first career reception against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
