Dequartavous “Tae” Crowder, a linebacker for the National Football League’s New York Giants, was born on March 12, 1997.

Crowder made his first interception on Jalen Hurts in Week 12’s 13-7 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. Crowder led the team in tackles and finished the season with a career-high 130 of them.

On October 20, 2020, Crowder suffered a hamstring injury and was put on injured reserve. Activation took place on November 28, 2020. Crowder recorded his first career sack of Russell Wilson in Week 13’s 17-12 victory over the Seattle Seahawks.

Crowder remained the top choice at LB on the depth chart when Blake Martinez was released one week before the start of the season. Crowder had seven tackles in the season opener against the Tennessee Titans, one of which was a significant hit on running back Derrick Henry.
