Morrissey, born June 9, 1998, grew up in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania. He is an American football center for the Houston Texans of the National Football League. Jimmy attended La Salle College High School.
James David Morrissey played college football for the Pittsburgh Panthers and was named All-Philadelphia Catholic League as a junior. Jimmy went a notch higher when he was named All-City by the Philadelphia Daily News.
After graduating from high school, Morrissey earned a few Division I FBS offers. He had offers from Lehigh, Bucknell, and Colgate but decided to enroll as a preferred walk-on at the University of Pittsburgh.
