Mills was born on October 21, 1998, in Atlanta, Georgia. He is an American football quarterback for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). He was born to Steve and Dawn Mills, who instilled in him good moral values.
He attended Greater Atlanta Christian School in Norcross, Georgia before playing college football at Stanford.
The Texans chose Davis in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft. In his first season as a starter, Mills broke the previous rookie passing yardage mark for Houston.
He passed for 6,290 yards and 66 touchdowns throughout his career. He was chosen for the 2017 U.S. Army All-American Bowl, however, he was injured and was unable to participate. Mills was the top quarterback in his class and a five-star prospect. He committed to playing collegiate football at Stanford University.
