Stephon Stiles Gilmore, a cornerback with the National Football League’s Indianapolis Colts, was born on September 19, 1990. (NFL). Gilmore participated in all of the mandatory combine workouts while one of 37 defensive backs that attended the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana. In the 40-yard dash and the three-cone drill, he tied for fourth place, came in second among defensive backs in the short shuttle, came in sixth in the broad jump, and came in seventh in the vertical jump.

Gilmore participated in football, basketball, and track at South Pointe High School in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He played quarterback and defensive back in football, and as a senior, he guided his team attain a perfect 15-0 record and the SCHSL AAAA Division II championship. Jadeveon Clowney and DeVonte Holloman were some of his colleagues. Gilmore, who was the offensive quarterback, rushed for 1,331 yards and 23 touchdowns and completed 14 passes for 1,771 yards. He was selected for The State’s first team all-state team and was recognized as an All-American by Parade and EA Sports. Additionally, he received the title of South Carolina’s Mr. Football.
