Polly is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman H. Kreisman of Washington. Her father is an adviser on international technology matters to the Energy Department in Washington. Her mother, Gloria Gross Kreisman retired as the vice president for public relations for Macy’s East, the department store company’s East Coast operation.
