Mila Kunis is an actress and a television personality. Although she is an American citizen, she was born in Ukraine, or what was then known as the Ukrainian SSR of the Soviet Union. Both her parents and most of her older relatives also hail from the same city.
Mila moved to America and settled in the state of California with her parents when she was only seven. Her parents left behind their good jobs and positions in Ukraine to move to the United States for better opportunities.
Kunis remains forever grateful for their sacrifice and has taken full advantage of the opportunities given to her to progress her career.

She was a student at the Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies for some time but later moved to Fairfax High School because it was flexible enough to accommodate her various acting and auditioning commitments.
She was awarded her high school diploma in 2001 and gained admission at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
