Duane Anthony Brown, an offensive tackle with the National Football League’s New York Jets, was born on August 30, 1985.
Duane was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. Devi Brown, who hosts the Shade 45 morning program on Sirius XM, accepted Brown’s marriage proposal on November 22, 2011.
Brown was detained on July 9, 2022, at the Los Angeles International Airport on suspicion of having a hidden weapon. He was later released after posting a $10,000 bond.
Brown and the New York Jets agreed to a two-year, $22 million contract on August 15, 2022. He was brought in to take Mekhi Becton’s place after the latter damaged his knee and had to go on injured reserve.
Duane Brown’s High School
Brown played football, basketball, and track at Hermitage High School and earned letters in all three sports. He had a game average of 15 points and 12 rebounds in basketball.
He participated in the throwing competitions in track. In the 2003 Group AAA outdoor shot put competition, he came in fourth place. In the shot put and the discus, he had top throws of 17.32 meters (56.8 feet) and 44.68 meters (146.6 feet), respectively.
