David Christopher Sheridan was born in Newark, Delaware on March 10, 1969, and is an American actor, comedian, writer, producer, and musician.
After graduating high school, he attended William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey. There, he was a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity.
David Sheridan is very much known for playing Special Officer Doofy in the comedy Scary Movie, which is a parody of the movie Scream. His character is a spoof of deputy sheriff Dewey Riley from its origin movie.
